£2.99 microphone for satnav

I just bought one of these whilst in the local post office shop. Only £2.99.

By strapping the microphone to the back of my satnav and plugging in my earphones, I can now hear the instructions rather that just see the map.

I'm dead chuffed at my bodge.

i remember working in a school, and the LEA's IT dept rang up demanding to know who was looking at http://www.bigboystoys.com/ - they felt like idiots

when i told them it was me, and they obviously hadnt bothered looking at the content of the site before ringing up shouting.

It does work. Thats exactly what I did until I got my bar mount for my car satnav.
