    hi there,
i have a bultaco m80 from 1971, 250cc with the slimline tank, sammy miller rear silencer and decomp unit.
i've just got it off my old man who has had it stored in a barn for 15-20 years!!
    Still has great compression.
fitted new pionts and condenser, got a spark. rebuilt the amal mk1 carb.
now in the process of rebuilding the seat/tank.
I'll try to keep the thread updated on my progress
    Jake

The best of luck to all with your Bultacos. Fantastic machines. Many moons ago, I had several beautiful Bultacos, sadly all sold in desperate times. I think the importers into the U.K. was a company called Comerfords. To the best of my knowledge, they never imported road bikes but the importer here in Ireland did. I had a Bultaco Metralla. ( I think Metralla translates as "Shrapnel" ) A 250 x 2 stroke. What a machine. Expensive to get one now but they are still available, from Classic specialists in Spain see www.motocra.com The metralla was a really fast bike for it's time. Plenty of twin shock Sherpas still on Fleabay and I think theres a company in the U.K. called Bultaco in Motion that stocks spares.
    Keep them going!
    Chris
