    Dakar Talk

In an effort to get more people into the chat channel when they're sat in front of their PC's....

Dakar Talk - 21:30 (UK) onwards, every night of the Dakar Rally

Just jump into the chat channel, using the link above, and share the occasion with others here. Doesn't mean you have to miss the program, just comment when and where you see fit. I'm guessing at the end of the program there'll be lots to talk about, like the DAF trucks being disqualified before the even started!

    See you all there!

If you've not seen, there's an excellent real time tracker on the official site.

I just 'watched' the BMW bike team finish today's special stage

They are quite depressed as well. There has been a big hassle going on for months about getting the trucks in the right shape, and a rep from the organisation did say the trucks were allright, after visiting the dutch teams early in december. Now this w**ker is on a holiday, so they missed out on his autograph and stamps..... Hence getting sent home...
