    Alp/Vara/@

When viewing the forum, there's always a lot more posts in the A/T section than there is in the Alp or Vara sections.

Is this because there are more A/T owners on here or because they're less reliable?

 How about a Who own's what section, perhaps in graph form?

    Just a thought, wadya reckon?

Could be something to do with the site address. Anyone doing a search for @ ends up here. Don`t know if searching for Alp or Vara links to this site.

Yep, that's what I was going to say. This is principally an @ site, hence the name, "www.xrv.org.uk".

They may have V-twins, but are they called "XRV"?

But that wasn't the question. The question wasn't what the best bike was, but rather why the @ seems to dominate the site. The answer is because it's obvious by the name of the site itself. It's set up primarily for the @.

    It's basically historical.
We started off as the Honda Trail Bike Forums to widen appeal than just AT's.
The TA's share a lot in common, less so the Varadero's.

The site basically has AT bias but slowly we're building up the other side.

The site also operates from www.trailbike.org.uk as well.
    Forum help and advice needed?

I personally think the Transalp and Varadero have little in common with the @T. I think it is original and stands on it's own. It is the only bike with XRV in it's title as the others are XLV. Meaning the XLV Transalp and Varadero were designed for the road (remember the XL250?), the Africa Twin was originally designed for competition in the likes of the Dakar rally therefor a pure race bred bike with the likes of the XR range.
The X being for cross country or rally cross, R for race and V for engine configuration (V twin).
The main factor is they are all members of the Honda X range for cross country. I believe they all have a place here within the trail bikes forums.
