    Finally!

Well after owning my AT for nearly two years I finally got around this afternoon fitting the ebay brake master cylinder and XRV sourced mirror from Guernsey on the bike. Had a £15 chrome slap on mirror from Hein Gericke and it strange how you get used to things that should not even be close to the bike never mind on it.

The bike looks nearly weird with the OEM mirror but certainly an improvement Why does it take so long sometimes to just get out and do something when you have all the time in the world?

Inspired by your thread I'd thought I'd put my baglux tank cover on tonight. Followed all the instructions - tank nice and clean and polished. Was getting on ok and then snap....

I'd overtightened one of the forward straps. Bugger - not sure the part I've broken can be repaired - knew I should've got the dealer to fit it...

Maverick this is your fault - I knew I was putting it off for a reason...

    oh well

Does this mean we can blame Maverick for any broken bolts as well?

    Maverick you git
Usually I only half do things so I never bother starting them.
Following up on your enthusiasm I started work on my home made boob job kit, but as usual I buggered it up and stopped halfway.

I am glad my motivational speach has inspired you guys whether for bad or worse

    Now guys think positive..

MacP - I am sure the baglux strap can be repaired with some strong nylon and a big needle. If it snapped now be glad it did not snap when you had a fully loaded tankbag going through a tight corner

Willb - Broken bolts can be replaced, this is just their way to tell you they are tired and should be replaced with young fresh new un's

Ralphie - Please post pics of the tit
