    Match Arai helmet shape?

I'm starting to look for an MX helmet for when I go on the tracks (both here on the IOM and when I ride the Dommie down to the Dolomites in July), and, just like my road helmet, I've found that I've got an Arai head.

The Arai VX Pro helmet fits beautifully, but is oh so expensive - especially when I'll be riding on rocky tracks so if I do come off, it'll be trashed

I've tried Fox, Ikon and One helmets on, and all of them are too tight on the forehead, so does anyone know a manufacturer that copes with the long oval head shape like Arai?

I'm "blessed" with an Arai noggin myself (big one, too), and so far I haven't found anything at all that'll fit me, except Arai. Lovely helmets, but pricey indeed.

Imagine my shock when trying to buy my first helmet at the local shop, and not finding any that would fit except for a single Arai that cost on the order of 700 euro or so (And pig-ugly to boot)

Someone I know uses both Arai and Premier helmets, so you might give those a try. (Though I don't know if they even do MX helmets)

Don`t bknow if your head will fit but I use a Oneal motocross helmet for off road. Made of Carbon fibre/Kevlar it is real light. Loads of vents for when u get hot under the collar. Mine came with a spare peak, nylon helmet bag and a canvas bag for storage. £150

    Almost, but not quite...

Shoei starts to give me a headache after 30 minutes, Arai doesn't.
