DO dealers check valves at 8k???

Chatting to a guy the other day (who owns an Alp), the dealer deemed that the valves didn't need adjusting as they'd checked the exhaust emissions - which were ok, so the valves were ok.

Sounds Bollox to me

Are dealers Really not checking valves at the recommended intervals???

Any experiences?

It has been mentioned on here that the valves rarely require adjusting.

So Mr Dealer, after finding this out on the first 50 he did has probably long since given up checking any bikes with less than 40-50k on the clock.

I guess the honest ones(there are a few) will share this with you, the rest will rob you.
