    Cheap Flip top lid

Anybody tried one of these Takachi lids?

    http://www.busters-accessories.co.uk...cts.asp?id=305

Quite fancy one for when I'm nipping about the shops and don't want to be taking my lid off every 2 minutes.

But at £40 you've got to wonder are they a bit rubbish?

At the other end of the scale, has anyone tried a Shoei Syncrotec? Just wondered what the quality is like.

I fancy a flip front for my next lid. So far narrowed it down to an HJC CL Max, the Shoei and one of the Schuberths. I'll have to see how each fits and go from there.

I actually have a Caberg J1 in the shoe cupboard. Crap lid, but I like the idea.

That is ridiculously cheap for a flip lid, ain't it?

My dad had a Caberg one which he used happily for a couple of years until he got sick of the noise. I convinced him to try the Shoei one and the weight difference is unreal! Tis much quieter too. Not that that matters if its just a pootling to the shops lid....

Jim, I think it's time you got a new lid,cos by the look of your avatar your old one is a bit tight.

But the man at the shop said you need a snug fit
