    Phish Food!

After the big hairy ar@ed biker brigade hit the Black Sheep Brewery - Masham on Saturday, an in depth conversation followed - about ICE CREAM

Subsequently went and bought a tub of B&J Phish Food mmm, my fave. All gone now

Sorry guy's had to do it

THe best ice cream in the world can only be found in Wales, in the Rhondda valleys. Mr Creemys, and not the commercial stuff in Tescos, you have to go to their shop in the valleys and have a waffle cone with 3 different type of icecream. My favorite combination is double belgum chock chip, black cherry and turkish delight. It is made fresh and has real turkish delight, chocolate and black cherries in.

Yum Yum Yum. THey also sell it in tubs for you to take home

I'm off to Wales at the beginning of April (Off road biking - sadly the AT isn't going as I need to take brother and gear down in the car. Hiring a DR400-Z)

I'll have to see if we're anywhere near there...

Best Ice cream is at Wallings Farm on the Garstang to Cockerham in Lancashire - made on the Farm and in all the usual and some unusual flavours. you can get it in Booths supernarket as well but only in vanilla. Nice cafe as well and Biker Friendly

Which reminds me of another "bringing up the children" story. This farm is just up the road from us and was regular summer trip. As the ice cream was farm made I told the kids they had special cows that gave ice cream instead of milk - well, we all called it the Ice Cream Farm so it stood to reason didn't it!!. It helped as there was a few Jersey cows about instead of the commoner Friesan. Jersey's soon became known Ice Cream cows. As we got near the farm the kids were straining their little arms and necks against the child seat belts to peer out the window to see the Ice Cream Cows. against Of course the story grew and grew - that different cows gave different flavours - specialised breeding to get two flavours and so on.

Oh, and course we had the Ice Cream cone plants growing in the fields. The sugar cone one's were fed extra fertiliser. I think they cottoned when it got a bit elaborate with Ice Cream bees making the syrup flavour sauce stuff. How I laughed

Trouble is eldest is 16 now and far, far too sophisticated for this sort fun. Just embarass him now with the merest suggestion that I still like sex
