    Givi Panniers

Just finished fitting tha above, ready for the Dartmoor camping trip , to the TA with wingrack system, must say it wasn't hard, BUT how the **** are you suppose to get on the bike without catchin your foot on them every time. I'm not a giant like Chad but at 5'11" i've never really thought i was vertically challenged either

If your on level ground and the side stand won't sink in step on the foot peg and swing your leg over then...

    Or...

loosen up those hamstrings and then step on through the saddle (as if you were stepping over the bike...

As you swing your leg over, grab your ankle to "hoik" your foot up a little higher! I have to do this anyway on my Vara' even without panniers.

Stop being soft and bash up your panniers a bit, it looks like you've been doing more than you actually have.

I have trouble getting my legs over my touratech panniers, they're already bashed in and out a couple of times though so I don't mind belting them occasionaly with my boot.

The worst problem I've had has been getting my trousers caught on the pannier on the way down, that was scary and funny for a mate who was watching!
