WhooHoo!!!

Well, I'm pretty chuffed with myself anyway. Got my @ last Monday night and absolutely loving it.
Too late Africa Twin!! Born in Namibia and I have an Identical twin brother. Although he was born half an hour before me and is not into bikes at all. Funny that..
So does that mean we have an 'Africa Quad'?

Africa Twin, my date of birth is 1 June 1974. Have you tried SHOEI lids? I haven't got the smallest of heads and they are a great fit for me. I used to wear a pisspot lid at varsity - Handa Glod Wing emblem and all (whilst riding a XL185S. I still try to avoid people who knew me then...

Whealie - my mom decided to get rid of us 3 weeks before we were due. Clever! Sadly my brother has no know superpowers, but people do tend to get out of our way when we're both angry. I'll have to tell you about this "road rage incident" some day...

Hiya Lootch67!! Sorry about the delay, actually been a tad busy, contrary to popular belief!! Now that you've published your birthday, I'm gonna have to....... 28 June 1965, yeah, yeah..... old fart!!! Hey, I'm only 40 - life is just beginning, well, so I believe!!

Thanks for the advice about the Shoei lids, guess I'm gonna have to give 'em a try!! Had my nut measured today and she promised she wouldn't laugh - I'm sure she wasn't crying - there definitely was a tear in her eye!!!!! She said "Just about a XXL", I said "Great, not so big then..." she said "Ahmmmmm, almost too big for an XXL" I nearly said "*&%k!!", glad I didn't!! She then suggested a frying pan, well, a big frying pan!! Ha, ha!! Oh well, not the only african twin, odds are I have the biggest head - reminds me of a great joke, will tell you when I meet you - you can't miss me, I'm the bloke with the BIG F*&^%£# Head!!!!!

Looks like I might have to qualify my comments regarding the SHOEI lids as I only take an XL. Too big for an XXL??!!! This I've gotta see! When you coming for a braai? (BBQ for you English lot )

I'm actually about to develop a complex about my head; everyone I've asked assures me it doesn't look that big, maybe they worry about getting a smack?

The li'l darlin' at HG phoned yesterday to say that they've ordered an Arai and some or other flip-lid for me to try - perhaps I should arrange for a web-cam to film the fitting, should be great for a laugh!!!

Look forward to a good braai, I'll bring the potjie!!! That's gotta cause a touch of confusion!!
We should arrange a good 'ol bring and braai at my place some time, my braai is under cover so this bloody weather doesn't affect my decision for a good bit of boerie when I feel like it!!!!

Here's the thing, this thread has been quiet for a while and I'm kinda hoping this is going to go unnotticed!!

I went to try on the Arai XXL and the Nolan flip XXL at HG today

    Didn't f&*%$£! fit!!!!!!!!!

The Arai rep happened to be in the store and is going to specially bring in a XXXL(!!!) lid next week.

They reckon that with makeup, they can make my eyes look a bit more slanted then they gonna put a wok on my head They all reassured me that my head doesn't look that big, can you blame me for feeling the pangs of a complex?

O.K., I'm outa here, I'm going for a ride on my bike, albeit with a pisspot lid, kindly lent to me by young Chad , even if it is a bit tight!!!
