    Crash Bars 3 : RTW 0

Had an unfortunate incident with a Ford KA on the A13 this morning where the women tried to sideswipe me. I managed to keep things sunny side up but the crash bars didn't take too kindly to this invasion of their territory and left it's mark clearly on a couple of panels. No damage to the bike or my leg.

Then there was the resent theft attempt where they dropped the bike with minimal damage (hand guard broke) and I've dropped the bike myself whilst riding off-road and again the crash bars took the impact with no damage to the bike. I might've mentioned this before but I would seriously recommend them.

Mmm, it seems that there's a bit of bad karma following me at the moment. Anybody want to go hunting??

As the old saying goes if it wasn't for bad luck.....

Glad you managed to keep the bike in the upright position and hope for fun you just stepped over the KA to scare the ****e out of the driver

Hee hee. I reminded my 8-year-old daughter of Lootch this morning. She had a stand-in teacher from South Africa yesterday. When I asked her if the teacher was nice, she replied: "I don't know. I can't understand a word she says."

It took me about 4 months before I was able to follow a conversation when I came to the UK. All these different accents...

Forgot to mention this in the original post. Keep in mind that I hit the car on the drivers side. So, when we came to a stop the driver gets out and checks for damage on the passenger side of the car. Nothing dad, I just smiled...

Must be one of those days...

On my way home from work today, urban dual carriageway 40mph, some dizzy t*rt decides to pull in from the outside lane, right where my AT is. I'm ashamed to say I kicked her passenger door hard but I'm consoling myself with the fact that it was a Ford Fester.

In retrospect I'm just happy that when she woke up she didn't veer straight into me Stupid thing to do I know, but very satisfying

Glad to hear that you're all OK, the sooner these brain dead drivers start mounting red and white flags on their cars like the rest of the arseh*les, the sooner we'll be able to spot them from afar!

    Crash Bars 4: RTW 0

I've said before that the Heidenaus are a bit dodgy in the wet but managed to get through the winter without any problems. Well, tonight my luck finally ran out. Mini roundabout, wet road, 10mph, break for car - not suddenly or very hard, front wheel disappears. I land on my knees (thank goodness for pads!) with the bike resting on my heel and the crash bars. No damage to man or machine apart from a couple of scratches on the crash bars. Really glad I was wearing proper boots with the metal plate in the sole otherwise my foot might've been crushed.

So, get those crash bars and remember ATGATT!!

I think we better post in the tyre section as well, we don't want people riding on tyres that goes walkies half way through a corner.

TKC80's daddy's coming back to ya

Glad you ok dude and nothing broken or smashed!
