    GPS Software

Right then guys and galls after reading all your recent posts regarding cheap streetpilot 111's, I went and bought a Garmin GPSMAP 76C for £99 instead. The idea is that this may be better for off road use and dare I say walking!! It has 115mb on board and is capable of using mapping software. Now question is software. Mapsource seems to be recommended, Metroguide for streetmaps and topo GB for cross country routes. Has any of you got experience of these progs and are they any good? What can I download off my copy of memorymap 2004 or Autoroute 2004? Is is literally just waypoint info or can you download street info off Autoroute? What is Touratech software like? Thanks

TTQV is a bit ahead of everyone, not sure of the exact system 76c runs but I do know that the opperating software for TTQV has a very similar frame work to a certain programme called 'fugawi global nav'..wink wink!

Those guys don't **** around either...
Ordered the SP3 late on wednesday, and had someone banging on my door with a package on friday.

Shame I wasn't home to collect it. Could've used a GPS today, I went to PoLouisGericke in Dusseldorf, and that is one monster city when you're there for the first time. GPS would've probably saved me an hour...
