    Ungrateful swine

After all the attention I've lavished on my RD03!!

It's had the clearances done, new clutch, new mirror, oil and filter, repaired the exhaust, new plugs...

How does it repay me? By eating the starter solenoid and melting the main fuse. It came home on the back of an RAC van yesterday. The contact were badly corroded and the fuse box and fuse had melted. RAC guy did his best, but it wasn't to be.

Got a pattern one on order from Wemoto.

I'm thinking it might be time to retire it and get something else. I need a city hack that I can rely on. It's getting to the point where I just can't rely on it any more. It's been a great bike and I'll be sad to see it go.

I can't really complain. It's done at least 80,000 miles and been largely neglected by me.
