    Great customer service

To cut to the quick, I had a Nitro flip front helmet. For some reason it kept getting extremely noisy, only at night, and approximately halfway through my journey home. I had a closer look at the helmet when it was cold, after riding home on nights at 3am. When the helmet was cold I was getting 2 mm of play in one of the locks, that lock either side of the flip front to the main helmet. The result of this was as wind pressure and temperature drop took effect it was causing a 2mm gap between the flip and main body of the helmet. This at 60mph was literally deafining even with ear plugs.
Spoke to v-s-j. The uk distributor. explained the problem. Explained that the helmet had been bought from J&S doncaster, at the NEC last year and whilst the purchase was on my visa statement, it didnt list what I had puchased.

    End result
24hrs later helmet of my choice from the nitro range waiting for me at J&S doncaster. Just walk in with your helmet and walk out with new one.

Now thats what I call awesome customer service. Who says you have to pay 300+ quid on a helmet to ensure you get decent customer service.

Big thanks to Nick at Nitro (VSJ)
    Paul

Good one Paul! There's hope left still then Must admit I'm a bit loathe to part with big wads for a helmet, but thinking about getting a flip-up one - the wind noise thing puts me off (imagine they're inherently noisier?) so apart from the 2mm gap, what was the Nitro like?
