    Oh and I think you must be quite mad doing that rock climbing thing.... its dangerous.

    Yeah but the best bit was the inshore lifeboat that came in to rescue us off the rock - they did some joint training with the mountain rescue team we abseiled down the rock into the lifeboat very very cool

    What CBRPaddy, me and Shane were doing....




    It's a place called The Priest's Leap in Co Cork - wild! Apparantly a Priest fleeing soldiers did a miraculous leap on his horse of about 5 miles. Paddy was fairly intent on giving it a go, but we disuaded him. I'm sure he would have been up for climbing the rock face you were ascending - on his AT

    Going on trips without me? To be honest i think it might have been a bit far to travel for the day!

    Well done, Mabel. Rock climbing can be a bit scary at times, but the sense of achievement after is great. I've mainly climbed only indoor climbing walls, but climbing and abseiling over the sea is quite a refreshing experience!

    My daughter has only climbed a few times but is a real natural. Just when you think she's reched her limits, somehow she manages to "twizzle" her fingers or toes a few more inches to reach an important hold or crevice. Fascinating.
