    this thread made me grin!

i think that teh following conclusions can be drawn:

i cannot spell the (forget that one i diddit!)
most folks on here are pleasantly nuts
no one on here really means to offend
    men do not understand women
    women do not understand men
we all really want to know about 12inch's avatar name - or maybe not!
bikes are peripheral issues on this nonsense website

Re: User Names, sexism, mental health and anything else

We had this conversation over the TLD 2009 weekend & it fascinated me, I was told it had been done on the forum once before so I decided to hunt it down & resurrect it. Here we go ….

Well imaginatively I called myself PanRider because I ride a Pan European. Yeh I know about as exciting as watching paint dry. Mind you this is primarily a trail bike forum, so a Pan European shouldn’t really be here.

If there is anyone else out there looking into planet XRV & thinking something along the lines of “I can’t join that forum, I’ve got a chopper/ wrong sort of bike”. Let me tell you, you’re wrong, the inhabitants are planet XRV are the friendliest bunch of nutters you will ever meet. Yes it is a trail bike forum, but all are made welcome regardless of what sort of bike you have or haven’t got. The important thing is people contribute to the forum, making it the success that it is.

(What’s the XRV line on scooter riders?)

    Thanks for reading
    Ash

Real name Geoff. My ex-wife had cats, (verminous animals) one of the little felines was always under foot and I would often be heard to utter as I tripped; 'Oh that cookingfat'.

Great forum, great people, in fact the best of all the bike forums. Although the jokes are few and far between.

    UP THE WORKERS!

    Grendel
after the bad tempered monster in the Saxon poem Beowulf and the subject of the Marrilion song on the B-Sides themselves album.

Reason being I'm a bad tempered sod sometimes and i thought Major Meldrew (which i have also been called) was too obvious.

Re: User Names, sexism, mental health and anything else

I've just spotted this great thread

Mines awfully original, being an African (born in Cape Town) have a brother 4 minutes younger than me - that qualifies the Twin bit and a neat little twist on the Africa Twin that I ride - get it

I do know that Lootch also qualifies but 'cause I'm older.....................
I cannot remember if I'm the Good Twin ............................or the Evil One
