Battery check,alternator check

Gizmo for sale in Aldi or Lidl this week checks your battery and your alternator,you just connect it to your battery and it lights up one of three coloured bulbs, red low battery,amber, or green,same with the alternator.
thought I could find a place to put it on the bike permently and wire it in cos it`s only small,not bad for £2.99.

I missed that little bugga.....
Would it hard wire into the optimate connection?
Could be very useful me thinx...
