    Respect !

I had forgotten just how crappy and difficult it is to ride this time of year in the dark and rain ! Fortunately now i can choose not to , its bad enough in a car , so big respect to all those of you who choose to commute daily on the bikes .

A cr*p day on the bike is better than a good day trapped in a cage. Some ride because it's practical. Some ride because they love it. Most, I suspect, ride for both reasons!!!

Completely agree, I rarely ever drive a car now, I do a 60 mile commute every day on Twinkletoes and couldn't imagine driving to work now. Although my waterproofs leaked this morning and most of most patients thought I had a continence problem for this morning.

That's my excuse and I am going to stick to it.

Nice one! Going to remember that one when I'm an old git(okay, an older git) and cant be bothered putting on my adult nappies under my leathers.

Never taken my tank out in the rain until yesterday. I was a bit worried that it was going to lose traction on all the leaves on the road and it would go one way and I'd go the other! I'm taking it easy in the wet for the time being until I get used to it fully.

Even tonight, I took the longer route home on the bike, just because I could, even in the rain it's still fun.
I now find it quite difficult to drive a car I feel so low down, can't see over the top of other vehicles, and filtering is not quite so acceptable

Cars, vans and even trucks are a piece of cake compared to riding a motorcycle!
