Just something wich happened the other day made me think of this
Had to go to a Parents evening for my daughters german trip,since i was working till 6 pm i had to go there on my bike
just imagine my daughters face ,room full of class mates and parents and i walk in in my bike gear
You should have seen my daughters big smile

or the time i opened the door (just came home from work,still in bike gear) and my oldest daughter fell
through the door pissed out of her trolly and the boyfriend thing tryed to explain to me what happened

never seen him again
so come on am i the only one

When I picked Mini Mabel up from school on my bike, 2 lads came out of the gates one clocked the bike where I was still sat with my lid on and said

"my dads got a better bike than that one" to my little girl, I take my lid off and say - yeah but has your mum???????

I have the reverse of that. At my Dad's 70th he kept getting me to show pictures of the stella and Fewtrees video (in which overtakes me and I slowly disappear into the background, failing to keep up with him).
