give a smile

i got u early this morning had breckie picked up my MCN and drove into town to do my xmas shopping

i set myself the task of giving a smile and a morning or a merry xmas to all that made eye contact with me i stopped for a coffee in starbucks and sat for a while watching the world go by . a couple came in looking for a seat so i finished up and usherd them to where i was sitting and departed with a merry xmas and left them with stunned exspessions on their faces

you know what its bloody good fun

you see people walking towards you with a face like thunder and they are met with a merry xmas or a good morning with a big smile it kinda stops them dead in their tracks

but it was nice to see just how many returned the compliment folks aint so bad after all


or does it have something to do the 6ft7in grinning loon they are presentented with at the time

so good afternoon merry xmas etc from this grinning loon overflowing with the chrimbo spirit

Happy Chrimbo, Chad and good on you for spreading some cheer. .I always try to have a smile for everyone I meet. 99.9999% of people smile back but others just think youre mad and step to the other side of the street.

I completely agree with you Chad a smile makes the world of difference. A few of the porters in work always call me smiler. I smile at everyone even when they are drunk horrid patients that are shouting at me. I smile cause I know the different size of needle that I can use

I only smile when I have reason to smile. As a result I rarely smile to the point that even my mother has commented on it in the past! Given an odd little smile to a few pretty girls when we've made eye contact in town, but that's all. Feels weird when I do smile, almost like I've forgotten how to smile...

thats a real shame taz a real shame ive had to deal with some real **** in my life but i never try to let it stop me from being happy or from trying to make others happy

What you thought where smiles where actually scared faces>Just imagine a 7foot9 (or so)giant comes up to you and says merry x-mas with a smile
