I'm on Ambulance duty again this year, I usually bring in "the bells" in the back of the wagon trying to sort out somebody with the night off who thinks his skull is harder than the pavement !!!

Going to party with all my neighbours, but I'd much rather sit in with wifey, a great cold supper and lots of booze and look back at last years successes and plan out next years dreams like we used too when the kids were too young to leave with babysitters. Sadly though I will be forced to be sociable with people I hardly ever talk too in the name of good will and future harmony. They will chatter about crap I have no interest in like which health spa they will join or what local golf courses have the best bunkers and yawn at me when I mention bikes. My fall back position is get as trollied as possible and pick my nose/sratch my arse and sniff it should anyone pompous looking approach Wish me luck

Was planning on doing the Edinburgh Hogmanay Street Party thing as I haven't been up here for a few years at this time, but nobody seems to be up for it
