    we get rusty too !!

it was my first real chance to get out on marmite last night after being off the road for a couple of months re: makeover

it amazed me just how rusty i was and for the first hour i was wobbling around thinking what the hell is wrong with me but the after about an hour things just clicked into place . i got smoother and felt a lot more comfy and by the wee small hours i was back to my old self

but it did supprise me just how rusty i felt. its real good to be back on the road

im gonna take a ride to the ace cafe tomorrow for a nice brekkie and polish my riding some more will be there about 10am if anybodys around
Despacio. Hay m'as tiempo que vida

sometimes I just have off days, days when I don't relax and get into a groove or days when I let traffic hassles get to me. sometimes the bike seems to fight against me and won't do what it's told other days we are like an old married couple; understanding of each others faults, willing each other to do better and looking after ouselvers together.......

Ok, I've an admission; My lovely wife is waiting for her dinner and I've hit the sherry early.

99% of riders would be better spending a couple of hundred quid for 2 days advanced training every spring than £300 on a new can.

Only one of the above will 'de-rust' and make you faster!

Rode yesterday for the first time since well before Christmas and felt the same, particularly going out in the rain.
Probably going to Newcastle on it next Sunday so should have a few miles to get that feeling back again.
