There I was, 07:50, darkish, on the way to work, overtaking a long line of traffic, stuck behind a tractor, car comes over the horizon, lots of time, big gap about 100m away. Bearing in mind that the traffic is at about 20mph this chump in the VW accelerated and closed the gap so that I ended up sat on the white centre lines, next to his bonnet.

Of course the car coming the other way thought it'd be a good idea to get as close to the white line too, sit on his horn etc.

I learned about riding from that.
