It's either that summer IS on the way or we're being lulled into a really REALLY complacent mood before Mother Nature throws an ice age our way!!

    Here's hoping...

I'm still wearing shorts 'n sandals now that does provoke many comments often unsuitable for printing on a clean site such as this

The most amazing thing I find is "It's the middle of January, therefore it must be cold, so you'd better dress up warmly." WHAT!!! Oh well, who wants to be normal (whatever that is) anyway

Somethings happening with the weather.... I found myself in the back garden washing down my bike yesterday then took Mrs Ox to Brandon marsh for a country side stroll and spotted squirells and bunny wabbits playing in the bracken mounds......

The old current bun was doing its best to brighten up the place but the east breeze was turning the thermostat down..... still a loverly day out and gave me that "Summer Feeling" Lord Vader is talking about...

Saw a Red Admiral Sunday, (the butterfly not an alcholic sailor), met up with Xander, then it all went downhill, got home to find the drains backed up, lovely job for a Sunday afternoon

p.s. why would you want to wear anything more than a tee shirt? it's not that cold

Yeah I would not have agreed with you last week (sooo Cold) but this am i was rinding in to the sun rise, and was warm!! So nice.. and best of all the scary black bend* on my way home disappeared last week!

    * there is a bend on a a38 that has no over head lights, and the camber of the road/ hill/ shape or the bend makes you look directly into the on coming traffic's lights, so you can not see more then 20 feet in fount of you, and just at the bottom of the turn / hill there is an uncontrolled crossing. So people always just jet across it when they see a bike or a lorry coming ? At night scares the Sh!t out of me.. durring the day you dont even know it is there...

    ouch!
Went to friends in Thatcham from Southampton on A34 yesterday had to stop several times to clear the dead bugs off visor on the way there since was warm sunny weather. Then on the way back it tipped down with rain so was riding back in the dark cold wet weather not being able to see clearly due to a smeary visor then this AM my leathers ands boots are now covered in white salty crust from the road spray. Wish this blooming weather would make its mind up
