I can feel it between my legs :-)

    Summer is slowly approaching
Noticed today for the first time that it was still light on my way home from work and it was dry for the first time in ages
There was just this nice feeling being able to lean the @ this little bit more,to just go through the corners this little bit faster.
Being able to see the setting sun on my way home the bike just felt this little i don't know how to describe it ,different.
I'm sure you guys know what i mean
We still have a long way to go to summer but on days like this it just feels not "that" far away
They call him "Ze Quiet one"
I listen to what the rice crispies tell me to do

Bleedin' bee you tee full here today, sunshine, blue sky and warm enough to wear just a t-shirt - you should have seen the looks I was getting from the retired colonels

It's either that summer IS on the way or we're being lulled into a really REALLY complacent mood before Mother Nature throws an ice age our way!!

    Here's hoping...

You drink spirits on the way to work? All I can manage is a half of shandy but then my van always bounces off a bump and so I spill most of it! Gotta watch for the ice though, it's a nightmare if it lands in your lap while you're driving

Got in at 3am (went to a wedding reception last night in Leyton, East London) then out again at 8am for some site supervision in Bow. Then home via what I thought was a gravelled green lane near Harlow, but in fact turned out to be a wet, slippery muddy/puddly thing. Rather than turn round (didn't think I'd be able to) I carried on to the other end only to find someone had flytipped loads of branches and wood chippings. Had to get off and clear a path.
3 Africa Twins/280,000 miles. If it's happened to one of mine, it's gonna happen to one of yours.....eventually.

1 Varadero/17,000 miles ridden (of 40,000 miles on the bike), it's all still new to me!

i looked up today and saw a clear blue sky, tiny wisps of cloud unhurried by the wind and a sun shining down on a happy world!

i then went out on my bike actually scratch that, i didn't i am on call this weekend and spent my whole day in a police cell with a total idiot who seemed to think that everything he had (clearly) done was someone elses fault!!

but i got in a good daydream!

can't wait for more nice days!

Is anyone else still splatting bugs?!? I seem to be?!

I know its mild but this is just too much!! salt, muck, rain AND bugs!

The weather is weird at the mo.... anyone else get that feeling that we are collecting too many not particularly nasty weather credits for Feb/March??

Hope not and we can just carry on cruising into spring with a bit of rain and wind. I do miss those cold, clear, perfectly still frosty mornings though. Beautiful sunrises from my crane when it is like that. Except my hands stick to the ladders if I forget my gloves!! ouch!
