MAG group ?

I'm thinking of joining the local MAG group. Anyone a member or has been a member, if so, is it worth joining? Opinions?

been a member for years twenty quid membership fee. good bi monthly magazine and great rallies and the twenty quid goes to a good cause so join

We ( in Ireland ) have a similar organisation and I'm a member more for the principal than the involvement. Politicians tend to take more notice of you if you're part of a grouping of some sort and it gives you a little bit extra voice. For €40 I think it's worth it.
I don't know how relevant this is to the UK however..................
