    1st day of spring.

Must be the first day of spring as the local power rangers have made their first appearance of the year.

Yes we saw a few prats today. One nearly took Jason's arm off as he shot by at lightspeed.

    Ditto.

My road had a constant stream of 4 into 1 equipped Kelloggs bikes howling up and down it today.

Still,it`ll be quiet until next Sunday now...

Notice how the plastic rockets are only out between about 10am and dusk ?

Notice how they`re only out on Saturday afternoon and Sunday??

Notice how they`re never seen beyond a twenty mile radius of any large town ??

Aw, come on SC! What could be better than a four or five cylinder bike with all the latest gizmos covered in plastic that's been painted gaily?

Not sure about power rangers, saw lots of the chrome polishers out on Saturday though.

Didn't see any on sunday, but I couldn't drive or anything so didn't really go out.

Nothing at all if your filming a sci-fi movie, or a professional racer. However, if your a numptie who thinks he's Rossi or captain James T Kirk, then loads
As you (probably) all know, I believe one cylinder is enough for a motorcycle. I can accept two, but thats my limit. Anymore and we are looking at a two wheeled car (outside of racing of course ) That a body of people wish to ride these contraptions around public roads in the name of 'biking' and ignore all rules of descency, roadcraft and respect for others is a violation of what I consider an art form, neigh Religion.
Everyone is entitled to do whatever they wish, I might not agree, but I would defend the right. That said no one is entitled to do so to the detriment of others.

Rant over and it's not my fault, Dee Duble Yuh made me do it

Took my daughter out for a ride Sunday morning. Sitting on the A20 at the last set of lights leaving London, behind a car with two other bikes next to me - both a bit beaten, regularly used ones (one a courier).
This Harley comes round us all and in front of the car, way across the stop line. Both rider and pillion in identical jackets. It leaves on Amber. The soundwave shakes my head.
I tell my daughter that I am not going above the 70mph speed limit once we hit it. We still pass the Harley comfortably and soon can't see it in the rear mirror. And we turned off at the M25 junction, which isn't very far.

Only saw 3 bikes on my lap yesterday morning - an R1200GS, a scooter and a sports bike of some sort (sun was in my eyes so couldn't see).

Mind you that might be due to the white fields in the Glen Helen valley and the Mountain raod matrix warning sign saying "Caution - Mountain Ice!"

Good god, my fingertips were cold by the time I got back to Douglas again, after an hour out :frez:

Still not trusting the bike as much as I did the Dommie though - on that, I'd be braking the front deep into corners with no issues, not so sure with the AT having different tyres front and rear
