Ten years from now Peter will be twice as old as Lucy was when Susan was nine times as old as Tim. Eight years ago,susan was half as old as Lucy will be when Lucy is one year older than Peter will be at the time when Susan will be five times as old as Peter will be two years from now. When Peter was one year old,Susan was three years older than Peter will be when Lucy is three times as old as Susan was six years before the time when Lucy was half as old as Peter will be when Susan will be ten years older than Susan was when Lucy was one third as old as Peter will be when Susan will be three times as old as she was when Lucy was born

I've been been around and around, I've even had a bash at an algebra solution, but everytime I think I'm getting there the sentence keeps going on and on and my brain collapses. I reckon Peter's 8 anyway (this assumes Tim is 1). I also think he killed the rest of the named people, after a mental breakdown as the result of an overtaxing maths problem and hence they are all 0 years old now. Please supply us with the maths tutor's name and address and we can pay a collective visit.

this is only one page of a twenty page booklet,you dont want to see the rest,my wife has told his teachers that parents are doing most of the work and they said "we know,we want you to interact with them"

I have an IQ of 148 and was a former member of mensa (got sick of having to py membership fees) and the answer to the question is....

you jest of course..I think it is a blag question as its answer can only ber found by guessing the answer and seeing if it matches up with the statement
