    Thumbs up The mystery bike

Is it just me, or this bike looks like the dogs b@llox

I've found this picutre in the gallery - does anyone know where it came from?

    Is it a Varadero/FireStorm/GS mix?

    Re: The mistery bike

It´s just a Varadero, stripped down and with some custom mounts for lights and stuff. I saw it in an Italian forum, very cool I think.

Wow, now why don't Honda release something like that, a sort of refined ducati monster super-moto thingy...COOL

I never knew a Vara could look so nice

My guess is that it's a Firestorm-based streetfighter. The tank and rear sub-frame definitely aren't from a Vara!!

The frame looks more Vara that FireStorm though, I guess it's a Vara frame / engine with Firestorm tank and fabricated subframes, nice job though.

    Re: The mystery bike

Never fancied a Vara myself, but after seeing this I started checking for one on eBay. This will make an excellent project.

I can just imagine what a fantastic ride this would be!

I do believe you are right, sorry. The footpeg brackets are much more like the Vara's and of course, standard handle bar brackets not clip-ons. It was the rear sub-frame that threw me; that's definitely not standard Vara!

I rather like the high-level front mud guard. More appropriate to a dual sport bike that a street fighter!
