DVD Recommendation - The Worlds Fastest Indian...

    The Worlds Fastest Indian...

Eventually managed to get around to watching it last night...

If you haven't seen it then it's well worth a viewing... (Gets a bit boring in the Middle but hey)...

AH is excellent... (With some fava beans and a nice chianti )

Seconded! I really enjoyed this film. Burt Munro was definitely a man with a passion for his bike and his dream of being the fastest in the world. Well worth watching

I also enjoyed this film. I actually watched it twice, the second time I treated Mrs Faantjie to the movie. She fell asleep and I got to watch it again.

I got it as a Chrimbo prezzy.

    Top film.

Highly recommended.....apparently,Bert Munroe`s family were moved to tears by just how well Anthony Hopkins portrayed the character.

lol 12 inch... yep defiantly one of the best films from last year, as a former engine builder Burt Munro gets my total respect for his resourcefulness and the endless determination, people like this are sadly few and far between in motorsport these days.

Loved it, unbelievable that he continued riding and setting records into his 70's, hope for all us OAP's.

Also loved it and certainly great entertainment. The stuff he got away with just being himself was amazing. I really like the part where he "mowed" the lawn

If you like the film, read the book 'one good run'. Its a bit of a biography about burt. The stuff he did, his circle of friends he made, the fact he had 2 bikes and actually sold the indian and bought it back. So much stuff the film never covered. He started out as a farmer on the family farm.

    Couldnt put the book down.
