exactly why i hate sports bike riders... couldn't give a toss about anyone but themselves!... ban them for life and crush the bikes, maybe learning the hard way is the only solution.

Screw them , I have absolutely no sympathy. These are the kind of tossers that put our insurance up year on year, and get motorcyclists the kind of bad press in articles like the above. If we can get all these tossers banned motorcycling would far better for all of us and we would get less hostility and maybe a bit more consideration from other road users.
    2011 Triumph Tiger 800 - "Black Pussy" - MMMM Nice !!!
    2000 Suzuki DRZ400S - "Ol' Yella" - very bright
    2011 Peugeot V-Clic 50cc - "Scoot" - It's my wife's, an enjoyable ride.

    I have a house , but I can't guarantee it's safe !!

    Re: Wales and bikers again

Once again this type of twot hits the headlines.

The real trouble is that it isn`t the usual media scaremongering or Police prejudice...it`s fact.

    It`s also far,far too common.

These people aren`t motorcyclists and definately ain`t bikers.

They`re just a bunch of fair weather thrill seekers who don`t give a ****e about anything or anyone else.

They won`t be in the slightest bit bothered if bikes were banned outright.

All they`d do is move onto jetskis or whatever weekend toy was trendy at the time.

I really wish something could be done about THEM but sadly something will most likely just happen to US.

I agree with the sentiments above. And I hate to be tarnished with the same brush as these morons. More testosterone than brain cells.

edit: Also just noticed a similar story in todays Oxford Mail,
THIS is the moment when a thrill-seeking motorcyclist tore through an Oxfordshire village at more than twice the speed limit and performed a wheelie.

    Oxbone pulls up his soapbox…….

Bloody nuisance bikers such as those twerps should be restricted to riding 14bhp machines and sent on ride outs with the GS group….

    · Forcing insurance premiums up for all the rest of us.
    · Expanding the market opportunities for the big four to manufacture pocket rockets and causing adventure sport models to be shelved....
    · Obliging motorcycle accessory and clothing stores to cater for “race” orientated riders” and not everyday motorcyclists

To name but a few of their unwanted influences and offending ways…..

Well before everybody points the fingers at "them sports bike owners", bear in mind the major cause of accidents is inexperience, not speed. There are plenty of inexperienced riders on adventure bikes as well as sports bikes.

It`s not just accidents that are the problem though.

It`s the knobhead attitude out on the road that`s causing most of the hassle.

i also have 3 sports bikes, does that automaticly made me an antisocial ****? err no, it just happens that the bulk of bikes sold in the uk are sports bikes. get your heads out of your arses. i've seen poor riding by sports bikes, harleys, supermotos, and even dickheads on trail bikes pulling wheelies.
