    Team XRV Rally spares

With a trailer to carry them, what spares, tools and other bits and pieces should we take to the Cambrian?

I think we have ATs and TAs going, what do you think we might break? If we do break it does it need to be fixed there, or should it wait 'till the bike is home?

This is a cue for all those round the world bodges that could get us out of a tricky spot!

For starters - chemical metal, can fix a world of woes to avoid the dreaded DNF!

Zip tie a spare clutchlever onto each bike in case of breakage, carry some duct tape for bodywork get you home repairs and a spare split link. If possible keep a clean pair of goggles in reserve if you don't have tear offs and it's raining/muddy.

Get some knee pads, not for falling off, but cos bikes passing have a habit of chucking stones right onto your kneecap.

Ooh and something to drink and chew on.
3 Africa Twins/280,000 miles. If it's happened to one of mine, it's gonna happen to one of yours.....eventually.

1 Varadero/17,000 miles ridden (of 40,000 miles on the bike), it's all still new to me!

Better add a small pistol in case the rider is past saving!!!!!
