    Odd Feeling...

I couldn't take the Bike to work this morning... Why? Cus I had to pick up my new Car from the Office... (It's a very nice car, Big, Black, Exec type with 180 horses and all the Goodies)... Ummm....

Now this might seem a touch ungrateful, but I don't mean it to sound that way, but I don't wanna a car (OK so I understand that occasionally I have to take clients out when I'm spending time on their site), but I wanna be on the roads on my Bike...

Mixed feelings, I should be happy, instead I'm feeling indignant and guilty because I'm not that bothered...

I knew you Guys would understand
( Roll on the Winter... I might appreciate it more then... )

    I understand entirely mate...

I actually own a car...well,a 4x4...but don`t use it....haven`t for months, regardless of the weather....it`s sat outside my girlfriend`s house until she passes her car test.

In fact, when it snowed a few months back,I was jumping for joy and took one of the Urals out for a laugh....the car wasn`t even considered.

Cold or wet weather,I`d rather be on my bikes, solo or combo, than inside a bloody box.

After all,I`ll be spending a great deal of time inside a box after my eventual demise,so I don`t want to be in one while I`m living.

I have a 4 by 4 for taking the better half and nipper out other than that it sits in the garden for the birdies to use as a loo
besides the xrv in snow is fun.

I'll let you off as long as it's not a Fricken AUDI in which case I automatically have to hate and despise you

dude you're lucky , after having an especially pucka 16v renault 19 cabrio when i met the missus (think it was the car that clinched it) moved up to a saab 95 eco power with the first child, now 4 years later i'm in a renault espace diesel people carrier!!
the bike is my only piece of individuality i can hold onto and getting out on her is getting scarcer and scarcer as the third child grows near, sometimes 2 weeks between rides lately (although i do go into the garage and let her know it's not my fault and plan our running away together!!)
if you manage 50-75% on the bike i think your doing well and i'm jealous of everyone who achieves it..........always look on the bright side as the pythons said.

fletch I do empathise with you there is very little on this earth that would make me take a car to work, apart from a flat tyre on the bike maybe
