    Question Wet Weather...

Yep... 400 miles in this weekends downpours...

Got me pondering... The Rukka Gear is totally awesome... (Totally, warm and waterproof), but the Bugger is drying it out afterwards....

Conclusion... Invest in some over garments which have gotta be easier to drip dry in a Tent!....

Any Recommendations (On Line preferably people)... 2 Piece, with some additional reflection maybe, and also some over gloves...

    Thanx

    Yours soggy...

Only comment I've got, if you've spent a small fortune on Rukka gear you shouldn't have to wear an over suit. If you want to do that when you're camping you might as well use leathers.

    Oh Constructive...

Now obviously I could warm the Rukka stuff through over the old Dragon Fly but they do tend to go 'Woshhhhhhhh' when you first light them

Type in goretex, gore-tex and gortex (for all different misspesllings) in Ebay and buy some ex army stuff. You'll spend about £20 and will be as waterproof as a very waterproof thing.

    Hi Fletch
I looked at Elosia - cool
Are your panniers no wider than your handlebars?
I made a boo boo and had big Givi topbox (good) and I thought smaller panniers (not so good) fitted to Boris. Problemo - with the panniers on, he's wider than a bus!

    Re: Wet Weather...

I know what your saying Fletch. My waterproofs from HG are all Gortex and reassuringly expensive but take about 12 hours to dry out on the outside after a bad downpour, and that's in a centrally heated house.... never mind a tent!!
So you don't have to have them dry on the outside but the bits like collars and cuffs soak the water up.

    Re: Wet Weather...

I throw a 1 peice, cheapo road waterproof suit on top of everything else when its really foul, keeps the waterproofs slightly dryer, and any sweat gets out of good waterproofs and onto the inside of the oversuit - warm, dry and there is something to leave the good 'proofs in on the grass inside the tent outer.
(Didn't do this for the Hafren, and regretted it!!)
