I've got one of them - it straps neatly to the side of my Bergan on exercise and I swear by it - for a quid you cant go wrong - good point about the back though - it might be the reason mine is knacked?........
I strap mine on top of all my camping crap every time, then when I am forced to remove some stuff so the bike goes more then 30mph, it gets chucked back in the garage.
3 Africa Twins/280,000 miles. If it's happened to one of mine, it's gonna happen to one of yours.....eventually.
1 Varadero/17,000 miles ridden (of 40,000 miles on the bike), it's all still new to me!
Downside: They get a lot lower during the evening if you're camping on soft ground.![]()

Yeah, but then as the chances of you falling off it increase with the amount of beer partaken, the chances of injury are correspondingly decreased the closer to the ground it gets with the added bonus of being eventually able to just roll over and go to sleep.......
