Can you go away for a wild outdoor camp, under canvas, with means for cooking and eating at 2 meals?
The challenge being that everything has to fit in only your topbox.

Easy.
If I had a bivvy bag be a sinch. With my tent might have to leave out the matress so I'd get no sleep. But then I'd have had to eat lentils and rice only so it wouldn't be the ground that was causing the discomfort.
If we can cargo net some extra stuff on the unused rear seat. It'd be luxury.
Or, can we go and pit up the tent and then go and buy the food (and wine)?

Easy peasy, just not for the next 4 - 6 weeks.

my top box is 56ltr.. I could do it easily but It would be much too heavy for a good ride...
My tent is 39cm long, 11 cm d (north face slick rock), my sleeping bag ( Kathmando 1/2 bag ) rated to +5_ compresses to 16cm l x15d, stove/pots pans = 24d x 17cm h, mat thermarest microlight 39 x 7 cm d, so the rest of the room is food.. but like i said the bike would be way heavy.. ( i have gone camping using just my tank bag/panniers (2x10ltr + 45ltr tank bag)... this of course means no beer
I have to say that, depending on the forecast, I might give this a go at the national meet.
Bivvi bag, sleeping bag, change of clothes, washing kit. Fit it all in a 30litre rucksac strapped on the back seat.

Given that I don't have a topbox: No, I can't.
With my current gear and a rollbag, sure no problem. 60 liter ortlieb, selfinflatable mat unrolled around the inside, sleeping bag stuffed down the bottom, bit of cooking gear, tent on top, done. (I take it you don't mean actual canvas.)
Otherwise, what's the budget for new kit?![]()
