BMW R1150gs vs. XRV750 Africa Twin

I've just got back after a long run this morning, including a wee bit off-road in the Peak District, I can honestly say the AT gives more smile-per-hour than the GS ever did...

I have to say I agree with you. A few weeks ago I went a fair distance to see an 02 plate 1150GS. It was scabby and the least I thought the owner could have done was to wash it. Even though it wasn't washed it was suffering a fair bit of corrosion which spoiled the look of it. I took it for a spin anyway, and the owner when on my @. When I got back all we could speak about was my old minger of an @ '93 on a K plate. The beemer has its charms, a big road presence being one of them. However the @ also has a big road presence and, for me at least, rides much better. I simply love mine, rough old dog that she is (bike not wife). I do love my wife, but she's not an old dog. Oh, you know what I mean......

Well I did a 100 mile run to Derby and back today on the GSA and would like to say
" I LIKE THE DARK SIDE."

I am not missing my AT as yet!
