    Have you seen the rain???

have you seen the rain? The road outside my work is not closed because of the flood water. The tennis courts are so bad the net is under water, and i'm not joking. I got fed up with all the cars and rode past them this morning and had the water coming over the top of my powerbronze screen!!!! Phoenix had to stand going through a puddle and the water came over the top of his boots!

    Will try get some pics!

Bring it on! I'm just going to go play some more now!

Ro0de up to Grantham yesterday in the heaviest rain I've ever ridden in. Visibility was down to 50 meters and I rode for a quarter of a mile up the Fosse Way with my engine blocks in the water!

Oh and and if anybodies got an Aerostich suit make sure the flap over the zip sits properly or you get very, very, very, very wet

Ditto for Kerry, although a bit cloudy now.. saw pics on the news of the UK and it looked well crazy. What about the scorching summer we were 'promised' ??

Re: Have you seen the rain???

I rode to Derby from the Wirral this afternoon in bright sunny conditions.

I`d gone to deliver my now sold 'LegoBike' (highly modded BMW 800g/s) to its new owner.

I set off at 1pm,got there at 2.45pm....still dry and bright.

By 3.30pm it was dark and LASHING DOWN.

Now,rain ain`t exactly a rare commidity here in the UK....so why were half the fecking trains cancelled or delayed ????

It took me FOUR AND A HALF HOURS to get home on the rattly railway.

We've had it in bucket loads today - and I was taking the rear wheel off for the first time, getting a new innertube fitted and then trying to get it all back together - one soaked little bunny, about fifteen times over
