Best book ever I suppose would have to be Christine - Stephen King very closely followed by THe Stand, It and Misery was outstanding. I also enjoyed Geralds Game - very disturbing book.

I have enjoyed reading the Harry Potter books (sorry guys)

It is so difficult to chose I have 4 full book cases at home and books in the attic too. We are a family of book worms.

Motorcycling books, Jupiters travels and I did find Long Way round a good read.
with you on all of the above fantasy fiction is my fave

the stand is an awsome book

my all time best fantasy fiction has to be
stephen donaldsons white gold wielder series...the trials of thomas covernant the unbeliever...closely followed by tolkiens lord of the rings

    david eddings

    robin hobb

    raymond fiest

alan dean foster..all good authors to name but a few

Must agree, the wee nach mach feegle's are one of his funnier creations As I've just finished Mondo, I'll give Mr Pratchett another go this week end

Obsessions Die Hard: Motorcycling the Pan American Highway's Jungle Gap.

    Ed Culberson:

    I don't believe him !!!!!

    WARNING _ CONTAINS SPOLIER:

Ed claims he rode his bike through the Darrien gap - but unbelievably, for a career military man, managed to lose all the documentation relating to this when he lost a pannier in Chile ( I think) and then managed to lose all the photos by leaving them in a taxi in Rio.

    *cough* yeah, right.

The books got a few poor quality pictures, and he manages to do that thing that some americans seem to be able to do so well, quite naturally, he makes what should be a mind blowing of the adventure of a life time seem really bland.

    I wouldnt recommend it.

Also love the Magician trilogy (cant remember who wrote it)
If you mean the first 3 in the Rift wars saga you it was Raymond E. Feist
(first book was called Magicain.. hero was Pug [male])
If you mean the Black Magician Trilogy it was Trudi Canavan
    (hero was female =Sonea)

It could also be Robin Hobbs Farseer triliogy (hero was male... name... ahhh .. maybe that is pug.. wait no.. friz or somthing and has a pet wolf..

you can see my type of book huh?
    I also love travel books...
anything from M. Palin is great...
