Sorry to hear that also, good it didn't get too far away. Sounds like the work of a "vertically challenged" moron. Again, bring back castration.........

Glad you got it back dude. The steering lock's not that difficult or expensive to replace - just don't go for a complete Honda replacement.

We should set the little buggers up - leave something for them to get their mitts on (whilst hiding round a corner) then pounce on them

Catch the little darlings and bring them up to the National so we can 'educate them' in their wrongdoings

We could feed them to Chad when he gets back from the pub

    Re: Stolen AT

As *luck* would have it the same thing happened to me last night. I got a replacement from patterparts.net for £40, coming tomorrow. I was quoted £120 for a honda one arriving in a week.

Now, anyone got any tips for removing those shear-head bolts. Anyone know the size I need to order to replace them?

Thanks for all the kind words. The polis catching them would not do any good as the little darlings would probably be sent off to Spain for a holiday at further expense to me.

Use a centre punch and a hammer to undo them(you have to take the yoke off and turn it over, a vice is handy), replace with a couple of allen bolts.
3 Africa Twins/280,000 miles. If it's happened to one of mine, it's gonna happen to one of yours.....eventually.

1 Varadero/17,000 miles ridden (of 40,000 miles on the bike), it's all still new to me!
