WARNING SPOILER - Today in Estoril

At long last - a return to proper racing

Feck me I was choking watching it ... brillant stuff, and just when you thought Rossi was done for, he keeps the championship open (albeit for maybe another few weeks only)

    Edge of the seat stuff....

    Brillant

And he was a big fan of Colin's and dedicated the race win to him.

We luurrrveeeeee Rossi in our house

reminds me of last year and the year before when nearly every race was edge of the seat stuff. Thank god Michilen finally sorted out the tyres, too little too late for the championship

Yup but comapred to the snooze fest we've been served this last few weeks it was such a treat to see a proper battle and Rossi take it to places that the normal laws physics and aerodynamics do not apply !

At least he might wipe a bit of that aussie smirk off by closing the gap and keeping palmolive boy fighting to the end

What happened to Hayden though?? One minute he's closing in on third up Stoner's arse, a knock on the front door later, he's nowhere in sight
Great bit of racing though, I was starting to worry that the drop to 800cc was going to hand things to the Ducati's, but maybe not.

i always watch the bike racing of any kind with my mouth wide open!

i just cannot believe how fast they ride or how much they lean or how they just know exactly what to do with the machine!

i suppose i am most amazed because when i come to a corner i pretty much stop, point the bike in the new direction then carry on!

i have to say i admire the sideways slidey around riders the most but mainly because they look like they are having more fun!

do you watch the 125's too? now those guys are nutters!
the Aspar(sp?) team riders HATE each other and all the riders dont seem to slow down for anyone or anything.
most of this year its the only race to watch. MotoGP was good (at last) yesterday tho.

    Go Rossi go

Some said he was getting old. was slowing down and blah blah. Never!!! Well not yet anyway.

The media had stated tho, that he had said something like " I'd rather not race if racing is like this" referring to his slow bike.

Yamaha has needed to pull its socks up all season, hopefully the new engine/tyres will do the trick. Wonder what position would he be in the championship if he was on the fastest bike. The legend won a wonderful race all the same.
