Steve T was it you ?

Saw an AT plus two others? crossing the Kessock Bridge tonight at 5 pm on my way home.
Looked like Scottish Biker's old bike from the distance.

( Sorry about digging up this never ending thread of " was it you etc " but AT's are something of a rarity in this part of the country !!!!! )

BTW, This is my first thread of "was it you", honestly.

Hi Lowflyer, The Mountie here. It sure as hell was Steve T with me and a mate of ours. I was on my Castrol Honda AT. Steve on his Trannie and the other bike was a blue XTZ660. We'd been to Applecross. Check out Steve's report plus pics on the Rides reports forum.

Twas a fine day to be sure with one particularly steep, gnarly climb at the top of the Bealach Na Ba which Steve dragged us up. Going up was bad enough, but coming down again was a bit scary.

    Cheers
    Neil

The mounties a fibber with a capital F
Twas his idea to attack the phone mast track. I brought up the rear (Phannar) of the trio heading for the mast, watching and waiting for the fearsome site & sound of an @ crumpling its plastics on the boulders. Not a chance. The only scary sound I heard as we slithered to the top was Paul sniggering when the Mountie stalled mid climb and the fearsome banging from the boulders off of my plastic sump guard. For fearsome sights, see my post for a view down the steep decent!

Wet, slippery big bouldered tracks on top of hills do not make for peace of mind - - even when you've got company.

ITS ALL THE MOUNTIE'S FAULT, SO THERE

    Hi there Mountie,

Sorry, mistook you for Steve's AT.
I spotted you some distance away, at least that's my excuse !!!!
Seemed like a good run. I think our navigator is planning a trip shortly.
    See you soon
