Just went and gave blood and thought I be all sanctimonious and smug and remind people how easy it is these days.
Why not give it a go. It takes about an hour from turning up to finishing your cuppa. And you might well save a life or two. It is painless, you do it about three times a year as a regular donor and you get appointments once you've started (while I was still giving they made an appointment for January for me).
