If Dave adds a pay per click advert for ebay on the site. Then if everyone uses the advert to get into ebay, everytime anyone buys something, a small sum of money goes to the site. I have used this before.

I use ebay a lot and wouldnt bother me to come to XRV to click on ad before going in to ebay if it was gonna help the site.

Actually its not.
It's actually quite difficult (or it was) to become an eBay affiliate.
They wanted proof that I was a business. Which I am, but don't want to be, if you see what I mean. I like to think of us as closer to a charity and a non profit making organisation, but that's still a business in many eye's! And I really don't want the hassle of full blown accounts, etc.. If I have to go down that route then I might as well turn it in to a proper business.

I've looked in to most of the money making ideas, and they've all come and gone. The only one that really does it is the Google adwords which is what we currently use.
It might be worth me having a look at eBay again though.
