Like everyone else here , I suppose, I find the daily trudge into work a pain in the erse, more so, up here in the wet 'n windy west coast of Scotland. When it's dark and the wind blaws and the rain is horizontal, and the ferries are disrupted and I'm standing on some god forsaken slipway waiting for (in no particular order) - the wind to drop / the tide to come in / the visability to improve / the ferry being repaired - I really question WHY DO I DO THIS ??. Why do I not just buy a wee hoose on the mainland and become a cager ??![]()

Then sometimes just sometimes I get a wee reminder of why I do this and why I love it and why going to work by motorcycle is the greatest thing .......
I turned the corner at the bottom of my street this morning and saw this ..![]()
Looking out over Millport Bay towards Little Cumbrae and Arran.
SO I went back for my camera and took a few wee shots of my commute to share with my cyber buddies..........
Looking South west towards Arran and the South end of Bute - Garroch Head
Looking North West - Loch Striven , Toward Point , kyles of Bute.
And the last view of home until tonight.
NOW THATS ! why I do it.![]()
