I think the Mods and Admin do a great job.
This is a good place, we don't want it to degenerate into some porn/bad taste fest , there is enough of that crap elsewhere.
It's a fine line to tread between humour and bad taste and people will always have differing opinions as to what is / is not acceptable.
I'm sorry some people feel the need to walk , nobody wants to see that , noit from a forum like this, but misunderstandings happen , some people read a different meaning into things occasionally - move on if you must , but better to stay and enjoy.
2011 Triumph Tiger 800 - "Black Pussy" - MMMM Nice !!!![]()

I have a house , but I can't guarantee it's safe !!
They do a sterling job and take the strain off DaveS I assume... who also does a splendid job keeping the site airborne.....
but......
************************************************** ***
Who are they? and is there any way of knowing what status levels they have..
This could save time when pm'ing the admin with certain problems if we knew this...
I have in the past emailed/pm'd persons on the assumption that they could help with particular problems only to find that the problem has been handled by another mod...
also... what if a mod just simply wanted to visit the site for recreational purposes and not to be "prodded" for tech/user problems.... is there (should there be) a mechanism by where a mod could indicate this and get to enjoy the site like all others do?

****just thinking through my fingers, but please discuss*****
Over the years (loads of em) I have been in various clubs etc, and was always quick to open my 'big gob' (northern slang) if I disagreed with any rules, commitee decisions, etc. etc.![]()
![]()
That is, until I got talked into being on one of those commitees and experienced how much time and aggravation is involved trying to get things done and keep everybody happy.
Since then, if somebody is giving their free time to make things easy for me, I keep my 'big gob' firmly shut.![]()
(
unless something really really bugs me.)
I think the mod/adms are doing a great job this is great site, and lets face it. if is easier faster and safer to moderate at a safe level then try and decide what will and what wont make an issue post by post comment by comment depending on the mood of the day..... Simply if it "may cause issue" it is gone.. works for me..
Mods you have my support ..
What i dont understand is why my post count still get cut down but my posts never (that i noticed) get deleted?![]()
Look at the bottom of the forum main page to forum leaders the mods and admins are all there look
