I am refusing to change any of my clocks (at least for a week as an experiment). This morning I got to work an hour earlier without feeling like I did. Lunch at 11am (GMT)though.

Yeah, apart from the supposed extra hour, I hate this time of year. When I was riding to the Museum I used to get back to Portsmouth as the sun was setting just before the clocks went back, but when we hit GMT again most of the journey was in the dark. The morning journey was too early (4.45 - 6.00 am) for the extra light to make a difference. The drivers also seem to take time to adjust to driving in the dark so suddenly, and most of my knock-offs used to happen shortly after the clocks changed (filtering AT headlights are impossible to spot against a sea of other headlights in the rear view mirrors), so I think this sudden change is pretty dangerous. A noisy exhaust helps a great deal. Leaving your clocks probably won't help this problem Yen...
I am VERY glad I take the train these days.
