Just found this whilst browsing.



Would this actually work??

The original is a cast item for rigidity and strength - I would have thought that a multi rose-jointed bracket would be all over the place with multiple weak points...........

Hopefully Jenna will be along along shortly with a proper opinion

they have been around for a while, general consensus is that the joints need to be the best available (and not lined) and then expect them to wear out VERY fast if you want to use the bike offroad , eg. we change rose joints on the rally cars EVERY event (thats sometimes as low as 1000kms life)...

also by tinkering with dogbones you change the suspension settings and that has its own problems (no point of doing it if you have an aftermarket shock unless you want to revalve)...

so quick fix for a laugh..
longterm use and offroad...

That wouldn`t happen due to the rigidity of the other linkages and bracketry at the attachment points keeping everything in line.....on a bench it would move as you imagine.

Nah - it's not shiny enough.........

Seriously though I was looking at it 'cos Mudwiz is swapping his linkage around and I was wondering if this could be an alternative option.
