    I've got meself a Harley!

Yep, 'tis true. I've hankered after one for ages and now I have a Harley Davidson.

Not yer actual Hog, mind, more of a Piglet really. It's a H-D MT350 in a rather attractive (but slightly faded) British Racing Green. I have never been comfortable about taking the Alp too far into the boondocks and prefer to keep it for road and touring. This little beastie should do the trick nicely.

Strange thing though. Seconds after parting with the cash and becoming an official Harley owner, I felt an overwhelming drive to get my head shaved, have a tattoo on my neck and buy things in leather with tassells.

    Anyone else experienced this?

Yes, I must agree that a Harley Davidson is the perfect machine for ploughing up the fields.

Imagine this though, rocking up at the local harley hangout, on a 350cc harley... Pink.

I rode one the other day at work - they are TINY!

Well compared to my @ that I'd just gotten off they are anyway. Crackin bike though not as good as the Can-Am even though basically the same bike, but good enough for what they were designed for. Good buy John.

When they kick at your front door How you gonna come?
With your hands on your head Or on the trigger of your gun
When the law break in How you gonna go?
Shot down on the pavement Or waiting on death row?.............

Re: I've got meself a Harley!

I was seconds away from buying one of these a few years ago as a winter hack from Witham SV (they regularly have these, bm's and Pans ex services for sale) when I realised they were 56 feet high and my little shortass legs would not be happy
